“German post office was on Ząbkowska Street and we aimed to take control over this building. I was in control if ammunition. My rucksack was filled up with plenty of books and at the bottom ammunition was layed. When I was delivering ammunition to the stations I’ve been spotted by the Germans. They’ve thrown the grenade at me trying to kill me. I got badly injured. My leg injury stayed with me by now. When I was badly injured back then, my war has finished for me.”
