“When I went for the first time for action Germans stopped and stayed in this near by mansion I knew very well. They’ve said to go and check out certain place. They were waiting for me. So when I got there I found out that four people were laying on the floor. Fifth person was sitting down and playing. I’ve seen a lot of guns on the stairs. That German who was sitting down has pointed his finger at me to come closer. He then goes to me: “Where do you live?” I’ve said that quite close. He said: “Can you get me something to eat for tomorrow?”. I came back to fellow partisans, saying that I’ve found guns over there. We came back following day – ten of us. We took away everything from them; their guns, clothes, boots, etc.”
