I&#8217;ve been connected with Grodno, Belarus a lot. I travelled by train with important, secret information to Grodno. Train has stopped 7 kilometres from the city. Then I&#8217;ve walked to the it&#8217;s cementery where I&#8217;ve met up with certain person at agreed day and time. When we&#8217;ve met up our code was: &#8220;He&#8217;s lost&#8221;, he said. I&#8217;ve replied: &#8220;I will find it and sew it up&#8221;. Then he said his nick &#8220;Strza\u0142a&#8221; &#8211; Arrow and I&#8217;ve said mine &#8220;Krzak&#8221; &#8211; Bush. We&#8217;ve linked up to pass on an important information. I&#8217;ve been involved in diversion against Soviets. They&#8217;ve arrested me on 7th August 1948. They&#8217;ve beat me up a bit during an investigation. Then few days later they&#8217;ve beat me up even more. I didn&#8217;t give them what they wanted.
