“Germans came close, I run behind sergeant in helmet, he was injured after shooting. His helmet came off and he has fallen down. I got badly injured as well. I’ve had really big hole in my left leg above knee. I was badly shoot in my right leg. I’ve had a bullet in my right thigh. It did get into my leg, but it didn’t come out. It has stayed inside my leg. Surgeon took it out. I’ve had no anesthetic injection, felt very bad pain, but to be fair I didn’t feel a lot after shock of these events.”
